De Sinterklaas Bank is an event organised by a team of six international students from the ERASMUS Exchange Programme, under the supervision of HAN University of Applied Sciences . The event’s goal is to raise money for children, whose parents cannot afford presents from Sinterklaas. The targeted group are children and their relatives, who will be willing to donate money for children in need. The event will take place in area of AFC Arnhem, in Arnhem, on the 25th of November 2015.

What would the volunteers do?

• help children playing football
• help in organizing more sport activities- (ringo, slaloom with ball, etc.)
• wear Zwarte Piets outfits (maybe)

Programme of Sinterklaas Bank event

• 13:30: Preparation time at the club- the Sinterklaas Team will be present, to help with catering and decorations
• 15:00:
  • Start of the event- music from the speakers already playing;
  • Dividing children into football teams
• 15:30:
  • First football games will start in teams of 7 or 8 children per team
  • In the same time other children can get their faces painted, make pictures with Pieten, eat and drink Sinterklaas food from our canteen
  • After every game there will be a photo with teams and Pieten;
  • In the same time will have an opportunity to participate in various competitions.
• 18:30-19:00: End of the event. Cleaning up the pitch and canteen.
