Bossaball cooperates extensively with Dutch colleges and universities. In two university towns, Nijmegen and Groningen, bossaball is actually allowed to be part of the official program. Groningen’s educational establishment called Alfa College, together with HIS Hanze Institute for Sports Science, focuses on sports and human dynamics¬ and for that reason procured the service of bossaball, while at Nijmegen’s HAN University of Applied Science, bossaball is part and parcel of the Sport and Movement Studies.
