The latest state of affairs around the building renovations

The final week of this corona-academic year has started. What is the latest state of affairs around the building renovations of Ruitenberglaan 26 and R29 for the School of Engineering and Automotive? You can read it below.

State of affairs for R26

At the moment, the ground floor of R26 is being renovated. From 16 August, a start will be made with furnishing the building with new furniture, ICT, modern machines and such.

State of affairs for R29

As you probably know, R29 (the new accommodation for the School of Engineering and Automotive) is being renovated in a number of phases.

With exception for a few finishing touches, floor 2 and 3 are ready. The first floor is in its final phase: during and after the summer, finishing touches will be made here.

The left side of the ground floor will be architecturally completed next week. The upcoming weeks will be used for furnishing this area. The aim for completion of the right side of the ground floor is the first week of October, when classes have already started again.
