Staff-Participation Students includes points of improvement

The lunch organised by the Staff-Participation Students on 17 November was attended by more than 40 students. Noud Salimans is a student member of this and also vice-chairman of the School Council. He experienced the lunch as a success. “We would like to thank all attendees for their useful input at this Participation lunch! We really liked the fact that students from all study programmes and study types were represented.”

Besides the tasty free croquette sandwiches, the focus was on content. The Staff-Participation Students first held a short presentation and then groups talked about possible improvements for our Engineering and Automotive School. What were the most frequently mentioned points?

  • Lack of a standard format for ‘Onderwijs Online’
  • No procedure for inspection of examinations

The Participation students see these as important points to improve. After lunch, they collected twenty points and wrote them down so that they could take action.

Noud: “This way, we can already include a number of the points in the advice ‘student communication plan’. Together with the management of our school, we are working on making the communication with students workable and equal for the entire school.
