S6-project: Smart Pricing Vanderlande
The Smart Pricing Project within Vanderlande was set up because in the last 3 years a database has been set up to contain all the service contracts within Vanderlande. Last year the previous HAN-group completed the database and this year the task was to see what kind of insights could be subtracted from the database.
The assignment this year is to make “smart” usage of the database. This could be done in many different ways, because “smart” is a very broad term. That is why the choice was made to focus on the intelligent user interfaces and data exchange.
Whitin this scope the focus was on making different interfaces that could support the users, by giving multiple insights in the service contracts. Besides the interfaces the plan to connect the SCCT database with the other databases within Vanderlande was also set up.
The goal at the end of the project is to deliver 3 tools that help with determening key performance indicator’s, give insights in the previous contracts and by making a tool that gives an indication of the cost per indivual sold service. The plan to connect with the other databases has also been set up, in september Vanderlande will start with the integration.
At the end of the semester there are some oppurtunities for the HAN-group to stay on at Vanderlande. Next year another HAN-group will be set up to continue with making the database more smart.
