S6 Project: Interactive Toys for MuSSaP
This project was set up by the Sint Maartenskliniek to help babies with their therapy for cerebral palsy. Within project MuSSaP the main focus is on the upper body, especially the arms and hands.
The goal of the project is to make for babies with unilateral cerebral palsy, to help them improve their hand and arm movement.
The youngest group of babies (4 to 6 months old) that undergo therapy is targeted, because improvement at a younger age would be most effective. Currently many prototypes have been created and many tests have been performed with the products. The prototypes have been adjusted after each new batch.
The end goal for the project is to provide the client with various different working prototypes, which the next group can improve. After this semester a new group of students will continue with our efforts.
