New winning blood for team HAN Hydromotive!
Here we are, a new season, and a new team HAN Hydromotive! For many years, HAN Hydromotive has been a super-driven student team with new faces every year. The people may be different, but the goal always remains the same.
The goal? To build the most efficient hydrogen car in the Shell Eco Marathon competition and go on to win it! That’s easier said than done, and it takes a lot! Not just the practical stuff like materials and knowledge, but also a drive to go for the extreme.
Supervising lecturer Edwin Kemper: “The enthusiasm, the passion, the motivation the drive, and future-oriented thinking, it spurs us on to make our goal and dream come true. The new season has begun and the new team is ready to start. A team full of enthusiastic, motivated students from the HAN, who will go all out for the ultimate result!”
This week, the team members worked hard on the car. The car needs to be ready, because the HAN Automotive students who participate in HAN Hydromotive, want to test the vehicle in the upcoming weeks.
Powertrain fixed a problem with the gaspedal, while the Brakes & Suspension division stumbled on a problem with the brakes. They work, but they don’t go back to their original position, which means that the brakes keep grabbing the brake discs. This problem requires some investigation.
