New rally season HART kicks off with grand start at JACK’s International Drenthe Rally

After a long winter break, HART (HAN Automotive Rally Team) is very happy that the new rally season has been kicked off with a grand start at the two-day JACK’s International Drenthe Rally. Unfortunately, the drivers of HART had to stop the race car after the second test on Friday 11 March. After the test was released, the service team had to investigate what had gone wrong. It turned out to be in the ignition, specifically in the ignition coils. But fortunately, it was relatively simple to solve.

Thus, on Saturday 12 March, the tests could be driven at the TT Circuit Assen. Ilona van de Water, Head of PR for HART, explains that the team started the rally on Saturday with an engine that was not running great. “The service team has worked hard on the first service to find a solution, after which we could fortunately drive the rest of the tests at full speed. The crew and the rest of the team enjoyed this immensely. And of course they also enjoyed watching the other rally cars and the general atmosphere at the TT Circuit Assen.”

“Of course, none of this would have been possible without our sponsors who we are very grateful to. I want to mention our event sponsor Terwolde Renault in particular. Because they have ensured that it was possible for us to participate in this rally!”
