National Student Survey (NSE): stand a chance to win year-long tuition fees

Many students have completed the National Student Survey (NSE) 2023 and have a chance to win great prizes. Main prize is a year’s tuition fees worth €2,209!

Haven’t completed the NSE yet?

Then unfortunately this is no longer possible, the last day for completing the NSE 2023 was on 12 March.

Final standings

On 13 March, we received the final score of the response. We did pretty well as School of Engineering and Automotive. If you filled in the questionnaire, you helped to ensure this great result. Many thanks for that!

What could you, as a student, give your opinion on?

Through the NSE, you could give your opinion on various parts of your study programme, such as:

  • content of the programme
  • acquired skills
  • preparation for the professional career
  • teachers
  • information from the programme
  • study facilities
  • testing and assessment
  • timetables
  • study load
  • study guidance

What is done with the NSE results?

All programmes receive the survey results in the spring. On this basis, work can be done to improve education. The results are also used in informing prospective students so that they can properly compare the studies of their interest, for example via ‘Studiekeuze123.nl’. The results are also used to compile the annual outcome of the major ‘Elsevier De Beste Studies’ survey and also significantly influence the results and display in the annual Keuzegids hbo. Both will be published again this autumn.

What is the NSE?

The National Student Survey (NSE) is a national survey on student satisfaction. Every year, almost all students in Dutch higher education are invited to give their opinion on their study programme and college or university.
