HAN student council wants to improve student welfare
Safety, inclusion and student welfare at the HAN are subjects that the student section of the Participation Council (PC) has put a lot of time and energy into recently. The members of the student section have been involved in developing the new ‘Wheel of Welfare’, which was presented recently. This wheel will be implemented throughout the HAN. It focuses on various aspects of student welfare.
The student section also considers signing the Amnesty Manifesto ‘Let’s talk about Yes’ very important. This manifesto is aimed at preventing (sexually) transgressive behaviour towards and between students.
On 25 April, both the manifesto and the Wheel of Welfare were signed by the HAN Executive Board!
In addition, the student section continues to discuss aspects of student welfare with students, lecturers and other employees within the HAN. Not only about what could be improved, but also about what is already going very well. This way, HAN will become an even nicer, safer and more inclusive place for all students.
