From the Power minor, lecturers and students went on a field trip to a sustainable Transformer Station in Wijk aan Zee at the end of October.

Erik Wagemaker, recruiter at TenneT: “After a presentation by the on-site staff, it was time to take a closer look at the station. We were given a tour in two groups during which we could ask any questions that came to mind. Concluding with a delicious lunch, it was – despite the bad weather – still a wonderful and educational morning!”

The Power minor was set up by the HAN, Hogeschool van Amsterdam and De Haagse Hogeschool and is co-facilitated by TenneT TSO B.V.
