Earn money as Student Ambassador for Study in Arnhem

Are you studying in Arnhem and are you also enthusiastic about this beautiful city? Do you want to help connecting students from different educational institutions? Register as a student ambassador of Study in Arnhem and help enrich this wonderful city!

Many Arnhem students focus mainly on their own course and school, so they barely have any contact with students from other educational institutions. That means they miss out on interesting contacts and friendships that could lead to amazing collaborations in the future.

What do you earn?

As a student ambassador for Study in Arnhem you work 80 hours a year and are paid € 1,000 (€ 12.50 per hour).

What will you do?

As a student ambassador of Study in Arnhem you regularly discuss and cooperate on upcoming projects. You do so with other student ambassadors and border workers at Study in Arnhem. Some examples of what you’ll be doing:

  • Organising activities like the Student City Challenge with other Arnhem students
  • Maintaining blogs and vlogs for the website and Social Media
  • Joining work groups to discuss the bottlenecks for students in the city, such as housing, work and wellbeing

In short, as student ambassador you’ll be cooperating on activities, showing what a vibrant city Arnhem is and discussing issues that concern students.

Who are we looking for?

Arnhem is your city and you project that. You have no trouble approaching other Arnhem students and are motivated to organise projects together. You feel engaged in issues that are important to students and you enjoy discussing them.

What is Study in Arnhem?

Study in Arnhem is a collaboration between HAN University, Van Hall Larenstein, ArtEZ, ROC Rijn IJssel and the municipality of Arnhem. Study in Arnhem connects students from different courses with each other and with Arnhem. How? By organising projects in the area of culture, innovation and enterprise, sustainability, welfare and sport. In this way we show that Arnhem is an attractive city for current and future students and alumni.
