HAN locations Ruitenberglaan 29 and 31 in Arnhem and Laan van Scheut 2 in Nijmegen have been disposable cup-free for several months. With this sustainable step, we have already saved a lot of waste and are setting an example for the rest of HAN. In the last quarter of 2023, the other HAN sites will also become disposable cup-free.

Satisfaction survey

The results of the satisfaction survey with 162 responses show that HAN staff and students are generally positive about using their own cup or a Billie Cup.

Vending machine

The pilot at the aforementioned 3 buildings also showed that the vending machines are not used enough. It has therefore been decided that this service will not be continued. The 3 existing vending machines within HAN will be taken away from 1 September. The Billie Cup remains available for €1 at the restaurant in the education building during opening hours from 8.30am to 15pm.
