More and more Commonwealth students attend HAN University degree courses, and HAN tries hard to accommodate them well. What is more fun than to play cricket matches with students from India, England, Scotland, Australia whilst in the Netherlands? This year an intervarsity competition will start. HAN has purchased a cricket set for enthusiastic HAN students to play with, and this set will be available for loan on Ruitenberglaan 26. For more details, email Ton Ammerlaan.

The complete HAN set is now available for practice in both the R26 Gym as outside. And more news: the nearby Larensteijn team in Velp is ready for some sparring. In September we will get a Master Class by some players from the National Dutch Cricket team, so register to get the best of the best in cricket tuition.

Sunday 29 August, Salland Cricket team in Deventer organises its Open Day. At 11.00, the 1^st team will play their final competition match for possible promotion to the highest league. At 12.00, a friendly match is played on a different field, for anyone interested and the day closes with a BBQ.
