Campus in Arnhem becomes Circular Square

The square on the campus in Arnhem is going to be renovated in the coming academic year. It will become a square with multiple values. Meanwhile this project and the square have been given an appropriate and future name: Circular Square.

Students who are participating in this project have held discussions with various stakeholders. Following these initial discussions, NL Greenlabel set to work on the first sketch under the supervision of Nico Wissing.

We take you briefly through the sketch:

  • All light green areas represent space for nature. This can be grass, but also flowers, plants and even herbs for catering.
  • The dark green areas are spaces to promote animal diversity.
  • The yellow areas provide space for exhibitions, in which we show how raw materials can be reused and what products this can lead to.

With this sketch, the students have collected feedback. This will soon be used to produce a better and more appropriate sketch!
