Do you enjoy supervising/coaching fellow students and/or offering a listening ear? Then the role of peer coach might be something for you!

The idea is to create a Coachbureau for students Engineering and Automotive and especially by students. Because: being guided/coached and/or being able to talk with ‘like-minded people’ (peer-to-peer) works best, is the thinking.

Which students would you supervise in this role?

Then you can think of:

• students with special needs due to autism;
• students with personal or studyrelated problems who need a listening ear;
• international students who suffer from homesickness and who have difficulty feeling at home in the Netherlands;
• students with other types of special needs.

In order to perform your role as well as possible, you will be offered a short training so you know what is expected of you. You will also engage in regular peer coaching with other peer coaches and under the guidance of a supervisor.

You could, for example, perform this role in the context of your Free Project at Engineering courses or the 40-hour project at Automotive. But other options are also negotiable.
