If you have obtained your diploma and want to study or work abroad, you can download an English certificate extract from your diploma from the Education Executive Agency (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs). Such an extract is useful if a foreign educational institution or employer wants to see your diploma.

Why this English-language certificate?

The extracts are an important tool in the fight against diploma fraud. Employers and educational institutions can ask job applicants and students to prove the authenticity of their paper diploma.

‘Mijn Diploma’s’ in DUO exists since 2012 and contains diplomas from 1996 onwards. It is being consulted more and more often: the number of downloads has almost doubled since 2019 to over 1.8 million in 2021. It contains extracts of diplomas from virtually all Dutch study programmes recognised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, from secondary to higher education.
