The HAN Formula Student Team has revealed their new Formula race car, the HFS-05 (2.0). They did this during the HAN Automotive Powerhouse of Innovation symposium at the Gelredome. The symposium took place on 29 June and attracted around 150 interested parties.

During the event, junior manager Sytse van ‘t Sant explained that his will probably be the last Formula car on fossil fuels. Next year, the team will start with the development of an electric Formula race car. He also said that the development of the HFS-05, which usually takes a year, has taken 2 years because of the Covid pandemic. The development team consists of international students studying Automotive Engineering.
