OnderwijsOnline

You use the digital learning environment OnderwijsOnline to hand in an assignment or to spar with a fellow student. Teams is used for some online classes or meetings. Material for your lessons will not be posted here, it can be found on OnderwijsOnline. And you can embed certain media and external learning functionalities in OnderwijsOnline using an editor.

OSIRIS

You keep track of your studies in OSIRIS and you can organize certain things in it. You check your degree results and the timetable, you register for exams and resits or you arrange an appointment with your coach or tutor. You can log in to OSIRIS via the browser or download the OSIRIS app for Android or IOS.

Software applications

You will be provided with software for your degree course, for which HAN has a student license. You use this software during a number of courses, but you can also use it during project, internship and graduation assignments. On this Insite page you will find references to MATLAB, SolidWorks, LabVIEW (including Multisim), AEA Edupack, Plantsimulation and Minitab.

HAN Insite Students

HAN Insite is the online environment of HAN. It is a shielded environment, especially for HAN students and employees and international students.

Via HAN Insite you can find information about:

• your education
• guidance during your studies
• facilities on campus

And of course much more!

Handin

Handin is the application for digital submission and assessment of summative assignment-driven tests. You hand in your professional products via Handin. These can be automatically checked for plagiarism. The lecturer will assess your product in Handin and you will receive feedback on the assessment via Handin. In addition, the grade will also appear in OSIRIS; this figure is leading.

HAN student mailbox (Office365)

As a HAN student, you have your own HAN mailbox with email address. You log in to Office365.han.nl with your HAN email address and the password of your HANaccount. You then have access to important applications such as HANmail, Teams and OneDrive. On HAN Insite you will find the answer to the frequently asked questions about your HANmail.

Your degree course can send important information to this email address. You will also receive a special monthly newsletter with important information about your study and the AEA school. In Engineering and Automotive this newsletter is called the Energizer.

Please note: you will receive emails about registration, (re)enrolment and deregistration at the e-mail address you used to create your Studielink account. Why? Because you arrange these matters in your Studielink account.

Wi-Fi

With your HAN account you can log in for free on Eduroam’s Wi-Fi network.
