AS A STUDENT, WHAT SHOULD YOU PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO?
As a student, it is very important that you check the OSIRIS app! Because through that app, you can very clearly and quickly see the following:
- Exam date
- Time of the exam
- Any facilities granted
- Exam room
ATTENTION: If you cannot find these details in the OSIRIS app, you are not registered for the test. You are then also not on the attendance list and are therefore not allowed to take the exam!
HOW ARE YOU KEPT INFORMED?
All students will receive information via their student email several times regarding registration for Education and registration for exams. Information can also be found by students through the Energizer (student email from the School of Engineering and Automotive). We also communicate via the programmes’ Instagram accounts. We hope this will allow us to reach students as much as possible.
DO YOU ALSO HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR EDUCATION?
Yes, because when you register, you as a student will automatically be registered for the first opportunity of the compulsory exams that belong to the relevant education block/course.
WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER WHEN SIGNING IN?
- A registration is required for all forms of examinations, not only for written examinations
- Not registered = you cannot take part in the examination
- Signed in = taking the exam, teacher can process result
- Not participating in the exam = make sure you sign out on time yourself. Too late, the teacher will enter an ND (Not Taken)
- Deadline for signing in is up to 10 working days before the exam date\
- Deadline to sign out is until 23:59 on the working day before the exam [ Note: if the exam is on Monday, you have to sign out before 23:59 on Friday]. Problems signing in? Email ask@han.nl
HOW DO YOU SEE WHICH EXAM YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR?
- You can check which examination you have been registered for in OSIRIS 6 working days before the exam.
- As soon as registration is possible, you will receive an e-mail at your HAN-mail address. You can register for (partial) examinations until 10 working days before the examination date at the latest.
- As you probably know, you can only participate if you are registered. So if you are not registered, unfortunately you cannot take part.
Note: A request for post-submission for an examination does not guarantee participation in the examination. The student will only be post-subscribed if participation in the examination is still organisable.
