Noud combines Industrial Engineering minor with School Council

As part of his college bachelor, Noud Salimans is currently continuing his part-time studies in electrical engineering at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in the United States. There, he is following the minor in Industrial Engineering. For this, he is going into subjects such as Production & Operation MGMT, Engineering Economics and Marketing & Innovation.

Noud: “In the first 3 weeks of classes, I have already learned a lot and gained positive experiences. This in school, certainly also outside. As can be seen in the photo, in addition, there is occasionally room to relax and explore the surroundings!”

In January, he will pick up his duties at Croonwolter&dros again, which will also mark his final semester of Electrical Engineering.

Academy Council

As a student, Noud Salimans also sits on the Engineering and Automotive School Council. In the role of vice-chairman. Last term, there were elections for the student section, but unfortunately not all seats have been filled yet. Therefore, he asks the following: are you interested in becoming a student member of the School Council?

Because through the School Council you can make your voice heard. For example, about decisions taken within HAN. This council, which consists of students and staff members, defends the interests of all students and staff members within your school. The council has the right of consent and advice. Not only Noud is a student member, but Joris Oosterhuis and Bram Stijsiger are also the student members.
