Smart greenhouse for energetic self-regulation

Guido, Safa and Gijs are 1st-year students of HAN Electrical and Electronic Engineering working enthusiastically on their sustainable project ‘The Smart Glasshouse’.

Why is this greenhouse so smart?

This greenhouse monitors its own temperature, humidity, light intensity and plant nutrients. You also save costs, because the greenhouse keeps exact track of when the lights have to go on and off and how much water has to be added. Sustainable energy self-regulation.

Nice example of applying programming with the knowledge of Electrical Engineering!
