Sustainable Development Goals on blackboard with colourful symbols
You must have wondered! What is that black board with colourful symbols representing the entrance on the ground floor of Ruitenberglaan 29? Anouk Brinker gives the answer on behalf of HAN Green Office!
“The black sign shows the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These are 17 goals to make the world a better place in 2030. They are a global compass for challenges and, via signs on the HAN Campus, primarily intended to make the SDGs physically visible. As the Green Office, we are working with HAN students and staff on projects around the SDGs and the framework reminds everyone of the 17 goals.”
In addition, students from the Green Office education department are also working on a project to set up an education programme in which these black drills become more interactive. Anouk: “They can also be used to increase awareness of the issues and engagement. The expectation is that this project will be completed at the beginning of the next school year (September 2022). It will then also be added to the Green Office Specials components (the education offered by Green Office) that belong to the HAN menu of Smart, Clean, Social education!”
